Travel: This position is based in Ontario, however some travel to other offices may be required.
Requirements
• Post-secondary education in accounting or similar
• At least 5-6 years of work experience in the foreign exchange industry.
• Experience in the financial management of foreign exchange operations especially for the airport offices – budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Management experience of currency exchange industry risks, compliance exposures, governance, or standards
• Experience in implementing and or supporting FX exchange industry risk assessment methodologies, including the application of risk-mitigating controls.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and complex concepts to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Experience with ATM controls and processes.
• Experience in financial analysis, reporting, and planning functions.
• Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, attention to detail, and execution skills; a well-defined sense of diplomacy, team management, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
• Strong computer skills in Ms. Office- word, excel, PowerPoint, and adobe.

Duties
The senior Operations Manager will be responsible for establishing and implementing short – and long–range organizational goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies, and operating procedures; monitors and evaluates programmatic and operational effectiveness, and effects changes required for improvement.
• Responsible for the Operations lead of a team and for the delivery of the overall operational metrics and sales targets.
• Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures.
• Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
• Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
• Creating long-term plans and initiatives to accomplish company goals efficiently.
• Coordinating with management to implement strategies and cross-training efforts.
• Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.
• Analyzing budgets to minimize expenses without sacrificing profits.
• Creating presentations and communicating with executives about plans and strategies.
• Identifying problems and coming up with effective solutions quickly.
• Monitoring changing market conditions and adjusting strategies accordingly.
• Ability to build relationships with partners and other organizations.
• Plan and oversees strategic, operational, and administrative programs, projects, and/or services of broad significance to the organization within the designated functional area of focus.
• Provides strategic advice and recommendations to leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of new or modified operating policies, practices, and procedures within the specified functional area of focus.
• Provide professional consultation and leadership to all faculty and staff employed by the component and service as the principal point expertise on all matters relating to the specified functional area of focus.
• Analyze, design, document, and implement internal reporting system and procedures for the organization or business entity, within specified functional area of operation, as applicable to the specified functional area of focus.
• Design, coordinate, and implement training programs for personnel within the organizational and its components regarding the nature and application operating policies and procedures.
• Manage and/or provide day-to-day leadership to various technical, professional, and/or administrative personnel engaged in specified projects activities, as appropriate to the position.
• Represent the organization to governmental agencies, funding agencies, national organizations, and/or the general public; may represent the principal executive at various community and/or business meetings, as assigned.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
