VDK Group is looking for a candidate to fill the Front Desk Receptionist/Office Assistant position due to our continued growth and recent move into a new facility.

Duties & Tasks

Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department.
Take on an internal sales-person role for potential customers that come to the showroom, when main sales representatives are otherwise occupied.
Manage the general office email, and forward emails/ queries to the correct department.
Maintain a clean and professional showroom, both inside as well as outside.
Maintain/ clean office spaces and other common areas as time allows.
Ability to work together with others in an assistant role.
Ability to correspond with customers regarding orders and estimates.
Correspond with scheduler to book in installations and service calls.
Track new opportunities for work that come in, plan weekly routes for on-site sales-calls, and reach out to customers to schedule in these calls.
Manage the company Instragram and Facebook page with daily posts of new content.
Receive payment from customers and issue receipts.
Receiving mail and sending out parcels and letters as required.
Qualifications and Skills

Minimum: High School level education is required.
Strong communication skills
Post-secondary in an applicable field is a major asset, but not required.


Monday to Friday - 8:30 - 5:00 (Overall hours are flexible)
VDK offers a great benefits package after successful completion of 3 month probation period. Details can be discussed at an in-person interview.

Receptionist: 1 year (Preferred)
Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.00 to $20.00 /hour
