Prodigy Wildfire Solutions located at 8967 Chikuainuk Road, Halfmoon Bay, BC V7Z 1B2, Canada is looking for a Project and Service Operations Manager – Wildfire Protection Systems. to oversee the delivery of specialized wildfire protection services across Canada. This position requires frequent travel. The salary is $85,000 per annum working an average of 35 hours per week. Performance based bonus and travel expenses to be paid by employer. This is a full-time, year-round permanent position. We require candidates who have at least 2 years experience in service operations, field project management, or installation-based service delivery
Duties and Responsibilities
Project and Service Delivery
• Plan, organize, and oversee wildfire protection service projects from initiation through completion
• Develop service scopes, work plans, and schedules tailored to individual client sites
• Act as the primary operational point of contact for clients during service delivery
• Monitor project progress to ensure timelines, service quality, and client expectations are met
Field Operations Oversight
• Supervise on-site installation, inspection, and maintenance activities related to wildfire protection systems
• Provide hands-on operational leadership during service delivery at client sites
• Apply practical trade and technical knowledge to review installation quality and system functionality
• Identify and resolve operational or technical issues encountered during field execution
Subcontractor and Service Partner Coordination
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, installers, and service partners engaged in service delivery
• Monitor work quality, safety compliance, and adherence to agreed service plans
• Liaise with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment
Safety, Quality, and Compliance
• Ensure all service activities comply with applicable safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company procedures
• Conduct site reviews and quality checks during and after service delivery
• Maintain accurate service records, installation documentation, and operational reports
Operational Reporting and Process Support
• Track service activities and project status using internal tracking and reporting tools
• Prepare progress updates and operational summaries for management
• Assist in refining standardized service procedures and workflows as operations expand into new regions
Requirements and Qualifications
• At least 2 years of experience in service operations, field project management, and/or installation-based service delivery
• Post-secondary education required
• Experience supervising technicians, subcontractors, or service teams in a field environment
• Practical knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, or related trade-based systems relevant to wildfire protection services
• Strong organizational, scheduling, and client-coordination skills
• Wildfire behaviour knowledge is crucial for understanding design elements
• Wildfire Structural protection knowledge
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively to project sites across Canada
