Title: Lighting Designer

Hourly Wage: $29
Working Hours: 35 hours (full time)
Job Responsibilities:
• work closely with the team to develop lighting plans for studio events, including concerts, tours, festivals, weddings, exhibitions and celebration events, etc.
• responsible for selecting, installing, and programming lighting equipment, ensuring that all lights are properly maintained and repaired as needed.
• Program and operate manual and computer-controlled lighting systems, special visual effects, colored lights, stage lighting dimmers, control switches and reflectors.
• keep up with advances in lighting technology and techniques in order to create the most innovative and effective designs.
• ensure that all lighting equipment and installations are safe for events, performers, and crew members.

• Attend dress and technical rehearsals to ensure lighting choices are correct, making adjustments as needed.
• Make strategic lighting-oriented purchases that align with the budget and production needs.

Employment Requirement:
• Completion of a college or art school program in theatre design, scenery design, or lighting design is required. A university degree is preferred.
• At least 2-3 years of working experience with a similar position is required.
