- 30.00 to 60.00 hours/week; 150 hours on average/month
- Employment conditions: On call, Overtime, Day, Shift, Weekend, Night, To be determined. Potential candidates must be willing to work various shifts.
- Employer will not cover the relocation costs

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Work site environment: Outdoors
Work setting: Various locations, Willing to relocate. Golderado Contracting Corp. has office locations in Merritt, BC; Calgary, AB; Fort Saskatchewan, AB; and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan but work will be on site in various construction sites. Job sites in Alberta may include Edmonton Area, Calgary Area, Fort McMurray, Grande Prairie, and Medicine Hat, and surrounding areas.
Scope of Work: Civil (road and bridge construction, etc.), Commercial and/or industrial construction, Industrial construction, Oilfield construction industry, Pipeline construction (large diameter), Relocation costs not covered by employer, Residential construction.
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Leadership for safety excellence course, Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, Ground Disturbance - Level II program

Budgetary responsibility: 0 - $8,000,001+. Budgetary responsibility will be project dependent, and based on qualifications and experience level.
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook
Tasks: Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers, Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors, Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress, Read blueprint, schemas and drawings, Plan and manage budgets, Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations, Prepare reports Security and safety Driver's validity licence check
Supervision: 3 – 20+ people. Supervision of contractors on site, where applicable.
Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence, Own vehicle, Willing to travel, Willing to travel regularly
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Large caseload, Overtime required.
