Education: Completion of Secondary school.
Experience: Minimum 2-3 Years of related work experience
or
3-4 years completion of an apprenticeship program.
Job Duties:
• Interpret and read blueprints to determine thickness of glass, frame and materials required.
• Measuring and marking glass.
• Using glass cutters or computerized cutters to cut glass.
• Glass tinting and create patterns on glass using various techniques.
• Erecting, assembling and dismantling scaffolds.
• Positioning and securing glass panes into frames.
• Assembling & installing prefabricated glass.
• Repair and repair windows, aluminum doors and other glass supporting structures.
• Replace damaged glass or faulty sealant.
• Assemble installing prefabricated glass, mirrors or glass products on walls, ceilings or building
