Landscaper

Terms of Employment:
Permanent, Full Time

Salary:
$23.50 Hourly, for 30.00 Hours per week

Several locations in lower mainland and 1121 W 15th St W, North Vancouver, BC, V7P 1M7

Education:
No formal education required

Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience required

Languages:
Written and Spoken English is required

Duties:
- Diagnose problems and disease, and apply various treatments such as pruning, spraying, repairing damaged areas and injecting
with treatment solutions.
- Plan and co-ordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental uses and other purposes.
- Assess sites, prepare drawings, sketches and reports and perform other duties to assist landscape architects in designing landscaped environments.
- Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens.
- Plan and construct landscaped environments which may include trees, shrubberies, lawns, fences, decks, patios and other landscape structures.
- Visit clients, assess the health of lawns, and apply fertilizer, pesticides and other lawn care products.
- Knowledge f various hand and power tools required for the job such as skillsaws, table saws, concrete saws, angle grinders, pruners, lawn mowers, etc.
