Responsibilities
Tasks
• Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles and shakes and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings
• Install roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings
• Repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings
• Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms

Job Duties
• Construct and fix roofs using hand tools and other equipment (ie. scaffolds)
• Ensure roofs are stable and waterproof
• Install insulation systems and vapor barriers to withstand any weather conditions
• Construct and fix roofs using hand tools and other equipment (ie. scaffolds)
• Ensure safety of the worksite
• Inspect and repair other damages found after removing old coating
• Ensure worksite is clean at end of day
