Title of position: Drywaller
Positions available: 2 full-time / 4 part-time
Job duties:
- Measure, cut, and fit drywall panels to walls and ceilings, and fasten them to wooden or metal framing
- Finish drywall using joint compound, tape, and other finishing products to create a smooth and seamless surface
- Install metal stud framing and furring for interior walls
- Repair cracks, holes, and damage that may occur to the drywall materials
- Follow all company safety protocols and procedures, and wear protective equipment to minimize risk of harm
- Use a variety of tools like saws, drills, and taping knives
- Perform minor site cleanup like sweeping and disposing of trash
Terms of employment: Full-time or part-time; permanent positions; days and weekend shifts; approximately 30 to 40 hours of work each week for full-time employees, whereas part-time hours will vary
Wage: $36.00/hour

Education required: Completion of high school is required. Completion of apprenticeship program in residential/commercial drywalling may substitute for required work experience.
Work experience required: Minimum of 3 years of experience in drywalling, plastering, or lathing is required. Completion of apprenticeship program in drywalling, plastering, or lathing may substitute for required work experience.
Language requirement: Fluent communication in English is required.
Skills requirement: Be able to lift 20 pounds comfortably. Ability to work at heights above 6 feet comfortably. Must have a valid driver's license for traveling to work sites during shift.
