Job Description and Primary Responsibilities
We are looking for an inspiring, motivated Helpdesk Technical Specialist to join our team. This individual will be working out of our client location in Brampton. This person will be responsible for administering and supporting our clients’ technology infrastructure through troubleshooting and upgrades.
Responsibilities

Primarily responsible for incoming user requests and first point of contact to address issues/requests

Work in a hands-on capacity with team to address and resolve technical issues as they arise

Provide assistance to users via remote management tools, onsite visits or step by step instructions by phone.

Co-ordinate with support team for escalations of unresolved issues

First level support for hardware, software and phone issues

Daily maintenance routines such as log review, backup confirmation

Desired education and experience
Our ideal candidate will have:

A Bachelor’s Degree, College Diploma, or equivalent

Experience with ESXI, vCenter and other VMWare products

Basic networking skills such as subnetting, VLANS and basic Cisco CLI

Experience with on Premise Exchange and Office 365

Access to a vehicle to travel between client sites
