Home Support Worker

James is looking for two full time permanent Home Support Worker NOC44101 for an elderly person with medical needs, in a private home during employment. Accommodation is free and optional. Salary $22.00 per hour. Located at Bellflower Way, Nanaimo, BC V9T 6L2.

Must have secondary education, related caregiving certificate or training is required. Caregiver experience an asset. Language at work is English.

Duties include: Assist daily living, personal care, bathing, companionship, medication, monitoring health, exercising and walking, assist in mobility, manage diet, report to family, escorting to appointments, lifts and transfer, assist shopping, meal preparation and cooking, general cleaning such as mopping, vacuuming, dusting, laundry, ironing, change bedding, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, patio pressure washing, light landscaping.
