Needed: Home Support Worker for a
Senior Female with Parkinson’s Disease

NOC Code: 44101

Employment Terms: Full Time – Permanent

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Plan and prepare meals including shopping for food.
• Help client with exercise.
• Assist to and from doctor’s appointment including managing medications.
• Assist with life management including shopping, banking and coordinating personal schedule.
• Perform housekeeping, including laundry, washing dishes, making beds and cleaning.

Working Hours: 30 hours/week, 2 varied days off per week

Wage/Benefit: $24.65/hour

Work Setting & Location:
• In a private home in Courtenay, BC
• Recipient of care is a 73-year-old female with Parkinson’s Disease

Employment Requirements:
• Education: Some secondary school education is required
• Work Experience: At least 1-year related experience is required
• Class 5 driver’s license is required
