We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated team member who exhibits a high degree of professionalism, a strong commitment to our students, and the ability to motivate and educate in an engaging manner. Important qualities expected in the candidate include strong verbal and written communication skills, experience working with students of different backgrounds, and commitment to the college mission.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Delivers Cybersecurity instruction including hands-on and theory, classroom management, and administrative tasks that may include reports, syllabus and lesson plan development.
Recommends for approval adequate instructional materials for course.
Recommends adequate laboratory facilities/equipment for assigned course.
Prepares daily instructional plans and materials.
Designs and implements lesson plans that align with learning objectives and student outcomes.
Maintains and evaluates program and student performance.
Assists with student recruiting, advising and graduate placement.
Establishes and maintains linkages with local industry and service area secondary education facilities.
Motivates, inspires and retains students in the program.
Formulates and maintains curriculum for assigned courses.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field; or

Bachelor’s in Cyber Security plus 2 years work experience; or

Postsecondary diploma in Cyber Security plus 4 years work experience; or

Six years of documented full time work experience in the cyber security field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Hold a CISSP, CEH, or other security industry certifications

Specialized training in Information Security and Cybersecurity


Demonstrated strong organizational skills.
Demonstrated motivation to serve students from all backgrounds and educational experiences.
Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service, maintain confidentiality and operational integrity.
Willingness to work cooperatively, communicate clearly and be a team player.
Ability to adapt to a variety of teaching methodologies including lectures, group activities,
individual instruction, distance learning, and teaching with technology.
