Infant daycare workers supervisor

We are seeking a passionate Infant Toddler daycare workers supervisor to lead our team in delivering high-quality early learning and care programs. In this role, you will oversee educators and assistants, ensure the safety and well-being of children from infancy to school age, and foster their growth through engaging, play-based activities. The ideal candidate is creative, communicative, and dedicated to supporting the diverse needs of all children, including those requiring special education support, while actively engaging families and the community in the learning process.

Main Duties – Infant daycare workers supervisor

- Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical,cognitive, emotional and social development of children
- Encourage children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music andphysical activity
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of other early childhood educators and early childhoodeducator assistants
- Maintain clean and safe work environment
- Provide assistance to students with special needs
- Collaborate with specialists to develop programs for clients' special needs
- Hire and train staff
- Liaise with the inmates' families and contacts in the community
- Maintain internal record-keeping system
- Ensure compliance with government regulations
- Discuss results and students’ progress with them, their parents and school officials
- Review programs to ensure conformance to school board or provincial standards
- Coordinate projects and programs

REQUIREMENTS
Child development supervisor (ECE level 3)
Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
First Aid Certificate
CPR Certificate
Bachelor's degree
Minimum 3 years of experience
