Job Type: Permanent Full-time
Wage: $47-50/hour
Work Location: 435 King St. North, Waterloo, ON N2J 2Z5

Essential duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Lead marketing strategy development and implementation with support from the whole marketing team
• Promotes the school at various recruitment events to prospective Chinese high school students and their parents, including public speaking
• Establish marketing distribution channels and seek long-term business corporations with education consulting groups and high schools in China
• Develop the school’s student recruitment strategies, and develop strong relationships with school counselors/coordinators
• Effectively address student concerns to ensure that all students are aware of their options and financial/academic obligations to their program of choice
• Attends programs and events and ensures that the tailored strategy is being effectively executed
• Oversee the preparation and production of marketing collaterals, including brochures, reports, newsletters, and other material, especially for the Chinese versions
• Evaluate and analyze marketing performance periodically and report to higher management

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field is preferred
• 3 or more years of relevant account management or office administrative working experience
• Previous working experience as a management role is required
• Must demonstrate a high level of attention to detail; and organizational, problem-solving, and follow-through ability
• Excellent interpersonal as well as written and oral communication skills required
• Ability to receive, interpret, and then communicate complex information in an understandable format
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Strong leadership skill, and ability to present information effectively to small or large groups and respond to questions from the public
• Proficient with basic Microsoft Office tools, and have adequate knowledge of Chinese social media platforms
• Ability to work evenings/weekends and take business trips
• Bilingual (Mandarin/Cantonese and English) as an asset
