Terms of Employment:
This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week (approximately)
Must be available in the daytime, evenings, overnight, and weekends.
Part-time, Casual or Locum opportunities are also available.

As soon as possible

Salary:
Alternate Funding Agreement - AFA (hourly stipend plus a percentage of billings)
(Approximately $300,000 to $350,000 per year)

Experience:
Two years of independent practice is preferred

Education:
Doctor of Medicine
Certification in emergency medicine: CCFP(EM), FRCPC, or equivalent

Language:
English

Licence:
Eligible for CPSO license
Specialty residency training
Eligible or holder of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Exam
Eligible or holder of the Licensure by Provincial or Territorial Authorities / Medical Council of Canada.

Emergency Medicine Physician’s Primary Duties:
Assisting and treating patients who present to the emergency department, including patients who need resuscitation.
Ordering and interpreting appropriate diagnostic tests.
Ordering appropriate medications.
Consulting with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to provide care.
