Job duties: We are looking for a general internist with a cardiology focus. The physician will practice specifically in cardiac disease and risk factor modification and will provide diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of cardiac and vascular diseases. This includes conducting thorough assessments, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, and implementing appropriate interventions. The care team includes Cardiologist, General Internist, and cardiac care nurses and the role involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care.
Terms of employment: Full-time with flexible scheduling options.

Wage: Compensation is based on a Fee for Service model.

Skills requirements:
• Independent Practice Certificate of Registration from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
• Membership in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
• Royal College certification in General Internal Medicine (or pending certification)
• Board Certified U.S.-trained specialists in General Internal Medicine may be granted equivalence to the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification in General Internal Medicine. In that case, they would be eligible for an independent license in Ontario.
• Medical liability insurance from the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) or equivalent required, appropriate to the category of practice
