Base wage of $23.00 per hour based on experience
Equal tip-out (approx. $8-13 per hour)

THE OPPORTUNITY
Restaurant Operations:
Lead kitchen operations while on shift
Maintain an organized and clean kitchen that meets or exceeds regulatory standards, policies, and procedures.
Work closely with the GM and kitchen team to ensure high-quality food and beverage programs – from prep to execution to the guest experience.
Oversee equipment care and maintenance such as training team in proper use, completing or scheduling repairs as needed.
Inventory management such as ordering based on restaurant needs and managing labour cost systems.
Ensure food quality to M!LA’s standards in prep and line kitchens, while managing bill times in the line kitchen.
Assist in receiving and checking on food orders.
Partner and Guest Experience:
Assisting in developing weekly schedules for the BOH to meet the needs of the restaurant that hit budgeting targets.
Reviewing weekly clock-ins for partners to ensure accuracy.
Train BOH partners to maintain a strong work culture, brand identity while upholding the standards of the guest experience.
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
1+ years experience as a leader in the restaurant industry paired with excellent kitchen skillset.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and inter-functional team environment.
High standard of professionalism and attention to detail.
Ability to coach others with honesty, professionalism while leading by example.
Knowledge and experience using plant-based ingredients.
Previous experience scheduling, managing inventory and working with payroll systems is advantageous.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
