About the Job Vacancy:

At this time, Centre Accounting is looking to hire a professional HR Staffing and Recruitment Coordinator. This is a hands-on position and will require you to work closely with both employers, employees, and potential candidates to ensure custom-fit services.

The duties of an HR Staffing and Recruitment Coordinator will include:

• Supervise several client accounts at a time
• Identify current and prospective staffing requirements and lead recruitment of workers based on clients’ needs and/or special requests
• Organize and overlook recruitment efforts – preparing job postings, arranging interviews, notifying applicants of selection outcomes, finalizing job offers, and conducting performance assessments
• Advise applicants on employment requirements and on the terms and conditions of their employment
• Advise managers and staff on staffing and recruitment policies and procedures as per federal and provincial employment standards
• Develop and administer staffing policies and procedures including staff consultations and grievance procedures
• Address employee related issues including negotiating settlements of appeals and disputes and co-ordinating termination of employment processes
• Determine eligibility to benefits and entitlements, arrange staff training, and provide information or services on available programs and benefits packages
• Ensure adherence to confidentiality policies and privacy legislation
• Provide supervision and training for junior personnel, as needed

A successful candidate must possess the following:

• A University Degree or College Diploma in a related field such as Human Resources, Psychology, Commerce, or Business Administration, etc.
• At least 1 - 2 years of experience in HR staffing or recruitment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to deal professionally and discretely with sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality
• Strong command of the English language
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation and Conditions:

Pay for this position will be $29.00 per hour. A regular work week will consist of 35 hours and overtime may be required in order to manage emergency requests. Applicable overtime pay will apply after 44 hours/week.
