About Us
Fort Erie International Academy (FEIA) is a beautiful Canadian K-12 private boarding school, located minutes from the USA and Niagara Falls. To increase efficiency and coordination with other operation departments, we are looking to hire an experienced Human Resources Manager to assist with HR related functions and reinforce our workplace culture within FEIA.
Reporting to the President, the successful candidates should possess in depth knowledge & experience on all aspects of human resource management, alongside with solid understanding of intercorrelation between internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate for this position is motivated, proactive, and who shows strong degree of ownership and accountability with high attention to detail & process.

Position Responsibilities
• Prepare and maintain the employee handbook
• Distribute tasks associated with payroll checks, tax information, and benefits for staffs of Fort Erie International Academy, compliance with related laws and regulations
• Set up staffing system, Write and implement human resource policies and procedures
• Coordinate operation and functions of departments, and ensure employees follow policies and procedures
• Keep the staff directory and organizational chats up to date
• Maintain records and reports, including teacher certifications and professional development hours
• Lead and manage annual recruitment plans with the board and survey for needs on all categories and levels of employees
• Oversee hiring and exit interviews and procedures, including new employee orientation and the processing of initial and terminal paperwork
• Attend meetings with school superintendents, president, and school boards
• Lead Human Resource team hosting quarterly teachers’ information meetings and annual contract negotiations and renewal
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education or a related discipline is preferred
• Minimum 5 years related experience in human resource management or other related experiences is required
• In depth knowledge of Canadian Educational System is required, knowledge with international education and international student recruitment process is a plus
• Experience in staff recruitment is needed
• Excellent writing, and communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Application
• Highly organized and attention to detail
