One of our telecommunication clients is looking for a Junior Business Analyst
Length: 12 months contract with possibility of extension
Location: Remote - Calgary, Edmonton or Vancouver (preferred)
Hours of work: 7.5 Hrs / day

Description:
We’re a customer-driven team, responsible for the conversion of legacy copper customers onto our revolutionary Pure Fibre Network. We are looking for a dynamic business analyst to help develop and execute on our program vision.

All facets of tracking the customer journey from network build to sale and install of services are required. You will utilize your expertise to build processes and solve challenging projects to support the achievement of our ambitious goals. Your analytical abilities will help you create stories that illustrate the results of our program and the opportunities ahead of us. A broad stakeholder group will rely on your support to develop actionable insights focused on improving business performance.

Responsibilities:
Own and drive process improvement projects from concept to execution
Use your analytical skills to identify trends, bottlenecks and process failures throughout the customer’s migration journey
Apply your influencing expertise to compel others to improve the customer experience in an agile manner
Document and effectively communicate new processes
Maintain and improve the quality of our data through your relentless attention to detail
Use your strong judgement skills to determine the appropriate time to resolution and deploy the appropriate resources

Qualifications:
Communication skills (including verbal, written, presentation & facilitation)
Analytical skills (attention to detail)
Interpersonal, organizational, critical thinking, problem solving and negotiation skills
Demonstrate strong knowledge of business analytics and process methodology
Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Post-secondary diploma/certification & 3-5 years of equivalent experience

Must have skills:
1. Communication skills (including verbal, written, presentation & facilitation)
2. Analytical skills (attention to detail)
3. Interpersonal, organizational, critical thinking, problem solving and negotiation skills
4. Demonstrate strong knowledge of business analytics and process methodology
5. Microsoft Excel – 4 years (mention basic, intermediate or advanced)

Qualifications:
1. Communication skills (including verbal, written, presentation & facilitation)
2. Analytical skills (attention to detail)
3. Interpersonal, organizational, critical thinking, problem solving and negotiation skills
4. Demonstrate strong knowledge of business analytics and process methodology

6. Post-secondary diploma/certification & 3-5 years of equivalent experience

Nice to have skills: (please at least 3 skills/exp):
1. Preference for bachelor’s degree and/or post-secondary business analyst education
2. Previous experience in a project management role or working within a project team

Team size and environment:
Existing team is 8 Full Time Team Members and 1 Contractor. Team members work from home in Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, and Kelowna.
