Hiring Position: Legal Administrative Assistant (NOC 1242)
Business Address: 10 Daniel Cozens Court, North York, ON M2R 0A7, Canada
Work Location: Remote working
Working Hours: 35 hours/Week; Full-time
Wage: 39,366 /year; $21.63/hour
Planned Start Date: As soon as possible

Prepare, key in, edit and proofread correspondence and legal documents, such as deeds, and immigration documents.
Review and proofread documents and correspondence to ensure compliance with legal procedures, immigration laws and grammatical usage
Open and distribute electronic incoming mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information internally and with other departments or organizations
Answer telephone and electronic inquiries and relay telephone calls and messages
Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
Determine and establish office procedures
Providing excellent customer services
Record and prepare minutes of meetings
Assisting the Manager with operational issues
Compile data, statistics and other information to support research activities
Arrange travel schedules and make reservation
Perform other general office work as required including preparing financial statements and business plan

Work effectively with deadlines and short-time frames in high-pressure environments, lead multiple projects simultaneously
Post-Secondary diploma/degree in legal secretary or business are preferred
Previous professional experience with graphic design is an asset
Strong organizational, planning, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
