Gore Motors is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our skilled service team in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Term of Employment: Permanent Position, 40 hours per week
Location of Work: 361 Memorial Ave, Thunder Bay, ON P7B 3Y4
Wage: $37.00 per Hour
Language Requirements: English
Regular Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts (with occasional weekend overtime as needed)
Benefits: $200/month towards extended medical benefits

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Automotive Service Technician plays an essential role in vehicle service, maintenance, and repairs for Gore Honda’s clients, who have purchased new or used cars from the dealer.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform scheduled maintenance services to Honda and other makes of vehicles
• Inspect, test, and diagnose mechanical issues
• Repair or replace faulty components as needed
• Test and adjust units to manufacturer specifications
• Complete detailed reports on work performed and issues found
• Collaborate with supervisors to determine the best course of action for repairs
• Remain up to date with all Honda specific automobile training

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
310S Red Seal Certificate
4 years of experience
Valid driver’s license required
Strong English-language communication skills

OTHER REQUIREMENTS (Travel, physical requirements, etc.)
-Frequently required to bend, crouch, reach, handle tools and lift approximately 50 lbs.
