Position: food service supervisor
Location: 5441 60 st suite 100, vegreville, AB
Type: Permanent employment, Full time35 hours/week
Start date: As soon as possible

Salary: $18.65/hour or Current Median Prevailing wage in the region
Shift: Flexible including Day, Evening, Weekend

Job requirements

Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, or equivalent experience

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Work setting: Restaurant

Personal suitability: Client focus, Flexibility, Team player
Supervision: 3-4 people, 5-10 people, Food service counter attendants and food preparers, Kitchen and food service helpers

Tasks
• Establish methods to meet work schedules,
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food,
• Train staff in job duties,
• sanitation and safety procedures,
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies,
• Ensure food service and quality control,
• Address customers' complaints or concerns,
• Maintain records of stock,
• repairs, sales and wastage,
• Prepare and submit reports
