· Deliveries to various locations in the surrounding areas

· Local routes (guaranteed home every day)

· Truck provided

Employment terms and conditions:

· Permanent

· Full-time (40 hours/week)

· Monday to Friday

· Shifts start between 3:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., and vary based on assigned routes

· Weekend, overtime, and Statutory Holiday work may be required

Salary:

· Compensation is a combination of daily base pay, pay per stop, mileage, load, sales, and performance, equivalent to an average of $30-$45/hour, with potential up to $55/hour

· Daily base pay increase after 6 months, 9 months, and 12 months of employment

· Salary increases per company policy based on annual reviews and adjustments

Requirements:

Languages: English

Credentials:

· Class 1/AZ driver’s license required at the time of hire

· Clean commercial driver’s abstract

· Must be able and willing to pass a company road test

Security and safety: Criminal record check

Duties:

· Build and maintain positive customer relationships

· Operate straight trucks and tractor/trailers (containing reefer) safely to transport and deliver goods at various delivery sites in a timely and efficient manner

· Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment

· Perform proper equipment maintenance, monitor reefer temperature, and report mechanical issues and damage in a timely manner

· Operate on-board computer and handheld scanner

· Manually sort and unload products (using dollies and other safety equipment, and a two-wheeler with a load weighing up to 350 lbs)

· Accurately collect customer payments, safeguard company funds and follow GFS banking policies

· Manage paperwork to include register, credits, pick-ups, etc.

· Complete daily check-ins accurately in a timely manner

· Collaborate with management and sales representatives to communicate customer concerns

· Adhere to all safety/compliance regulations and procedures

· Attend department meetings

· May perform other related duties as needed
