Work Location: Various locations across lower Mainland
Job duties:
• Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas
• Build and dismantle existing structures, frame, and fences required at construction sites
• Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment, signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance in other activities
• Assist in carpenters in framing houses.
• Assist in setting up and operating various drills and other machinery.
• Maintain machines and equipment used in construction such as mixers, compressors, and pumps.
• Clean up nails, small remains/thrash and remove hazardous materials.
• Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.
• Prepare and construct wood frame and heavy timber.
• Suspended slab formwork & placement
Job requirements:
• No education required.
• Some experience as a construction laborer or helper is asset.
