Job Duties:
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
- Decide food portion sizes and calculate food costs.
- Prepare and cook meals and different dishes.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Check the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Train staff on preparing, cooking, and handling food.
- Order food supplies and kitchen equipment.
- Manage daily kitchen activities.
- Clean kitchen and work areas
