Bagri Farms is committed to growing, harvesting, and selling of quality product on our farm located in Surrey, BC. We are currently hiring 3 full-time Farm Workers to work on our blueberry farm.

Job Description

Position: Farm Worker
Number of positions: 3
Terms of employment: Full-time; Permanent; Year- round work
Wages: $14.60 per hour
Anticipated start date: As soon as possible
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, physically demanding, combination of sitting, standing, and walking

Job Duties

• Plant, fertilize, cultivate, irrigate, and harvest crops.
• Pruning and thinning, weeding, repair water drip lines, apply saw dust when required.
• Operate and maintain farm machinery, tools, and other equipment.
• Examine produce for quality and prepare for market.
• Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce for transportation.
• Other farm related duties as required.

Job Requirements

• No education and language requirements.
• No experience required, we will train
• Ability to work long hours, early morning, and weekends
• Ability to work in fast paced environment which may be physically demanding
• Ability to work in various work environments e.g., wet, damp, dust and cold

Benefits
