Job title-heavy-duty equipment mechanic
Job position - Permanent.
Pay rate - $45.25 per hr.
Number of vacancies: 2

Job Requirement-
Experience required: 2 year to less than 3 years
Education required-College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Language-English

Job duties -
1-Instruct apprentices.
2-Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
3-Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required.
4-Order parts and maintain inventory.
5-Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
6-Keep maintenance reports and documentation.
7-Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications.
8-Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work.
9-Perform repair work on heavy trucks.
10-Service attachments and working tools.
11-Verify and repair emission control systems.
12-Perform other routine maintenance.
