Job Duties:
•Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
•Examine parts, prepare templates and sketches, and determine work processes
•Compute dimensions and tolerances and set up machine tools
•Set up, operate and maintain a variety of machine tools to perform precise, non-repetitive machiningoperations such as sawing, turning, milling, boring, planing, drilling, precision grinding and other operations
•Fit and assemble or disassemble parts using hand tools
•Verify machined parts for conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments such asverniers, callipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.

Wage & Hours: $23.27 as per Collective Agreement
