Position: Aircraft Mechanic
Location: Pitt Meadows, BC, V3Y 2B4
Salary: $36.50/ hour

Job requirements:

Languages: English
Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Work site environment: At heights, Outdoors
Certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses: AME «M» Licence - Aircraft
Flight instructor ratings: General flight, Airplane
Personal Suitability: Accurate, Client focus, Dependability, Flexibility, Initiative, Judgement, Reliability, Team player
Type of Industry Experience: General aviation, Training organizations
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination

Skills:

• Troubleshoot aircraft structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems to identify problems and adjust and repair systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and established procedures
• Repair and overhaul aircraft structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems
• Install or modify aircraft engines and mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel and pneumatic systems
• Dismantle airframes, aircraft engines or other aircraft systems for repair, overhaul and cleaning, and reassemble
• Perform and document routine maintenance
• Order and maintain inventory of parts and supplies
• Interpret blueprints/specifications/standards and written technical instructions
