Education
Degree or Diploma in Horticulture or related field or equivalent experience

Experience
Minimum 3 years practical experience in Propagation, Bedding Plants and Potted Crops

Ability to Supervise
Staff in various areas of responsibility

Job Duties
• Production scheduling, insect and disease control, nutritional programs, environmental control systems, experience with fertilizer and irrigation systems
• Assist in greenhouse climate control, cultivation and operational processes and ensure these systems are effective on an ongoing basis
• Responsible for overseeing maintenance of growing equipment and all environmental controls
