Responsibilities
Conduct sampling and analysis using chromatography techniques
Execute internal audits and manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to maintain a continuous state of audit readiness.
Maintain laboratory equipment
Operate laboratory apparatus
Assist in set up and conduction of chemical experiments
Develop innovative R&D recipes and lead the transition to large-scale production by optimizing equipment parameters and mass-balance for consistent output.
Establish technical specifications for raw materials and finished goods, including precise nutritional labelling and allergen matrices.
Implement and monitor HACCP and preventative control plans to ensure 100% adherence to GFSI and national regulatory standards.
Assist in development of standards, health and safety measures
Compile records and interpret experimental or analytical results
Develop and conduct programs of sampling and analysis
Conduct safety training programs
Assist in building and testing prototypes to specifications
Examine ingredients or finished products to ensure conformance to company standards
Propose improvements to methods, systems and procedures
Grade and label raw materials or finished products
Set up and conduct microbiological tests and laboratory analyses
Monitor production and troubleshoot production problems
Ensure adherence to safety regulations
