On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Experience
· 2+ years of experience in epoxy floor installation
· Experience with the use of propelled shot blaster and grinder
· Experience with hand tools for epoxy floor installation

· Various locations in the Vancouver Island and Lower Mainland-Southwest Region depending on client projects

General Skills
· Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered
· Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
· Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding
· Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings
· Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
· Estimate costs and materials
· Prepare floors for installations
· Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
· Vacuum floors

Specific Skills
· Specialize in the installation of high-quality epoxy flooring solutions, adapting installation techniques for various settings including residential, commercial, and institutional environments
· Conduct comprehensive inspections of surfaces to be covered, including measuring, and marking for epoxy floor installations
· Prepare surfaces by measuring, cutting and fastening underlay and underpadding, vacuuming floors, and ensuring a proper foundation for epoxy application
· Calculate the amount of epoxy needed and mix the epoxy before the application
· Execute the installation of epoxy flooring, utilizing specialized tools and techniques to ensure precise application and adherence to surface specifications
· Implement stretching and securing methods for epoxy coverings, using appropriate tools like knee-kickers, power stretchers, rollers, and staple guns to ensure durability and stability
· Employ precise measuring and cutting techniques for resilient epoxy flooring materials, adhering them to surfaces using industry-standard adhesives and hand tools
· Conduct thorough inspections and undertake repair work on damaged epoxy floor coverings, maintaining a high standard of quality and functionality
· Collaborate closely with the clients to supervise and manage all epoxy flooring projects, ensuring each project aligns with client requirements and industry standards
· Estimate material and labor costs for each project, providing accurate and detailed quotations to support project planning and budgeting
· Installation of epoxy floors, which may include

o Decorative epoxy flooring with quartz and recycled glass
o Decorate seamless flooring
o Noise reducing epoxy flooring
o Texture epoxy flooring
o Resin floor coatings
o Textured epoxy flooring and urethane flooring
