Our Client’s Pharmacy located here in the Langley/Abbotsford area is looking for a Pharmacist that is looking for a steady position in Pharmacy.
This pharmacy is a Retail setting pharmacy. In the pharmacy, you will be engaging with patients addressing their concerns and counselling them on their prescriptions. In addition, you will be required to provide guidance to the rest of the pharmacy team.
This position will be a 3-month contract with possible extensions.
• Start Date: ASAP!!!
• Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm & 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm
o Pharmacist must be flexible to work both shift times
Main Duties:
• Checking prescriptions to ensure proper dosage
• Calculate, measure, and mix the quantities of prescribed drugs and other ingredients required and fill the appropriate containers with the correct quantity as needed
• Maintain medication profiles of customers
• Order and maintain stock of pharmaceutical supplies
Desired Qualifications:
• Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Proficiency in pharmaceutical operational systems, e.g. Kroll
Compensation:
• $60/Hour - You can bill using your Incorporated Business Account
