Job Duties
The successful candidates will perform the following duties:
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes according to established recipes and restaurant standards
• Prepare and portion ingredients including meats, vegetables, sauces, and spices
• Cook a variety of dishes including curries, rice dishes, appetizers, breads, and other menu items
• Ensure food preparation meets quality standards and presentation requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work area in compliance with food safety regulations
• Monitor food inventory levels and assist with stock rotation and ordering supplies
• Ensure kitchen equipment and utensils are properly used and maintained
• Assist in maintaining consistency and efficiency in kitchen operations during busy service periods
• Follow all workplace health and safety policies and food handling standards
Employment Requirements
• Education: Completion of secondary school (high school) is required
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a cook or in a similar kitchen role is required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation practices
• Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
