Job Description:

We are looking for Head Chef for our East Indian cuisine restaurant .

Main Duties include:

Estimate supplies, food items and costs
Maintain records
Analyze operating costs and quantities
Demonstrate cooking techniques and equipment to staff
Supervise kitchen activities
Create and refine recipes
Instruct cooks, supervise cooks and kitchen staff
Prepare and cook complete meals, dishes and banquets
Requisition food and kitchen supplies
Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
Consult with clients regarding events
Plan menus and ensure food meets standards
Prepare special dishes
Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food

Employment Requirements:

At least one year of experience
Minimum Education: Cook trade certificate
