Food Service Supervisor

We need one (1) Food Service Supervisor who can start immediately. We are in Edmonton, Alberta.

Wage: $17.00 per hour for 35 to 44 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Permanent; Full-Time
Applicants with part-time availability to cover full shift are encouraged to apply.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Languages: English

Education: Secondary school graduation Certificate

Experience: 1 to 2 years

Ability to Supervise:
Staff in various areas of responsibility

Work Condition and Physical Capabilities:
Fast-paced environment; Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Standing for extended periods

Personal Suitability:
Flexibility; Effective interpersonal skills

Job Duties:
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and serve menu items
• Set staff work schedules
• Train staff in job duties, health and safety guidelines
• Maintain minimum stock levels for day to day operations
• Order inventory from our designated suppliers
• Resolve customer complaints
• Ensure health and safety regulations as designated by the franchise are followed

Work Setting: Food Service Establishment

Workers Supervised: Food service counter attendants and food preparers
