Food Service Supervisor

Permanent, Full-Time position. Salary: $18 Hourly, for 40.00 Hours per week. Anticipated Start Date: 2023/01/03. Location: Markham, Ontario (1 vacancy).

Skill Requirements:

Completion of secondary school and 1 year to less than 2 years related work experience. Self-motivated and work well in a team environment. Language - English

Specific Skills:
Coordinate and supervise the tasks of staff. Coordinate with catering/take out customers. Supervise and schedule staff that prepare, portion and serve food. Address complaints of customer. Ensure quality is maintained. Provide estimate and maintain inventories and stock. Requisition supplies, if necessary. Oversee the operations of restaurant and kitchen. Ensure supplies and raw material is always available to meet the restaurant and catering orders. Prepare route plan to deliver food. Establish back up plan in case of staff absenteeism to meet work schedules. Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage. Supervise and train staff in job duties, covid protocol, sanitation and safety procedures.
