Shift Manager

Black Pearl Seafood Bar is a vibrant maritime-themed eatery offering raw oysters, a range of classic seafood dishes and cocktails. We need one (1) Shift Manager who can start immediately. Our restaurant is in Edmonton, Canada.

Wage: $20.00 per hour for 35 to 44 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Permanent; Full-Time
Applicants with part-time availability to cover full shift are encouraged to apply

Employment Conditions: Overtime; Day; Evening; Shift; Weekend; Night

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Languages: English

Education: Secondary School graduation Certificate

Experience: 1 – 2 years

Ability to Supervise:
Staff in various areas of responsibility

Job Duties:
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff for kitchen and restaurant front
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies
• Scheduling employees according to the traffic at different times of the day
• Maintain service standards in speed and quality of service
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, hygiene, and safety procedures; Address customer’s complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Prepare and submit reports of food and labour costs.
