Assistant Manager - Retail

MT. NEWTON SHELL is looking for full-time and permanent 1 Assistant Manager- Retail at Saanichton,BC. (Even though this is a full-time position we encourage part time job seekers to apply as well). Salary is $41.00/hr and 30-35 hours/week.

Job Description:

Evaluate daily operations
Plan and organize daily operations
Manage staff and assign duties
Determine merchandise and services to be sold
Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale
Develop and implement marketing strategies
Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
Determine staffing requirements
Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers
Conduct performance reviews
Supervise office and volunteer staff

Employment & Education Requirements:

Education
College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
or equivalent experience
Experience
2 years to less than 3 years
