Job Details
Location: 2745 Bridge Street , Victoria, BC – Downtown
Salary: $40.87 per hour
Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full-time (30 hours per week)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Number of Positions: 1
Language of Work: English

Overtime: May be required during peak periods and will be compensated according to BC Employment Standards
Job Duties
* Plan, direct and evaluate the daily operations of the business, including the showroom.
* Manage the Administrative Team (4–5 employees), assigning duties and overseeing scheduling, time tracking, and HR matters.
* Administer the complete customer service cycle from sale to payment and installation.
* Liaise with suppliers and vendors to procure merchandise for resale.
* Collaborate with the Marketing Team to develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies.
* Plan and control budgets, authorize services, and monitor revenue performance.
* Evaluate and improve customer service standards; respond to customer concerns and resolve issues effectively.
* Recruit, train, and retain staff, ensuring strong team performance and development.
* Oversee showroom maintenance, cleaning, and office supply inventory management.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and high service quality standards.
Job Requirements:
Education:
College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma (1-2 years)
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or administrative role within retail or wholesale operations.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service management.
Area of specialization:
Awnings and Window coverings
Skills:
* Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to manage budgets and monitor KPIs.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Familiarity with POS or CRM systems.
* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
* Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
