Job Duties: General Store Manager(Noc Code-60020)
• Oversee daily operations of the gas bar, including fuel sales, convenience store, and car wash (if applicable).
• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies.
• Develop and implement operational procedures to enhance efficiency and customer service.
• Monitor and manage employee schedules, payroll, and performance metrics.
• Plan and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives and increase profitability.
• Maintain product and service knowledge to provide accurate information and recommendations to customers.
• Address customer inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and professionally.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of products and minimize waste.
• Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and forecasts.
• Ensure the gas bar operates in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including health and safety standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards or issues promptly.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance.
• Ensure the gas bar, convenience store, and surrounding areas are clean, well-maintained, and visually appealing.
• Communicate effectively with upper management, staff, and other stakeholders.
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required by the Canadian Tire corporate office.
