Inside Sales Representative

Description

Our company operates a distribution network selling mechanical insulation products in strategic locations throughout Western Canada to serve the industrial and commercial markets. We are currently looking for an Inside Sales Representative in our Edmonton, Alberta operation. This is a full-time position in a fast-paced office environment.
The role of the Inside Sales Representative is to expedite all aspects of customer service.
Specific Duties Include:

Maintain a “Safety First” attitude in everything you do.

Take an active role in maintaining a safe and harassment free work environment within the Company.

Ensure all customer orders are accurately entered into the Company ERP system.

Effectively communicate with the shipping department to ensure all customer orders are expedited in accordance to the customer’s required delivery schedule.

Provide customers with pricing, technical assistance and product information.

Assist customers in identifying the proper materials required to complete their installation.

Be proactive in phoning customers to enquire about upcoming sales opportunities.

Assist with Branch purchasing as required.

Assist with Administrative duties as required.

Ensure you maintain strict adherence to Company Policies and Procedures.

Cooperate with other Managers and Administrators within the Company to promote harmony in the best interests of the Company.

Perform such other activities and responsibilities as may be, from time to time, deemed necessary by the Branch Manager.

Qualifications:

Preference will be given to individuals with a minimum 3 years inside sales. Professional sales training is an asset.

Understanding of mechanical insulation or construction in general is an asset.

Be a self-starter that can prioritize the workflow in an efficient manner to provide optimum service to our customers.

Must be computer literate and be able to perform tasks in software tools such as Excel, Word and the company ERP (training provided for ERP).

Possess exceptional communications skills.

Must be well organized and be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

Communicate well with other departments within the branch to assist in coordinating shipments.

Show leadership qualities and a willingness to learn that could bode well for advancement within the Company.

Compensation:
