We are looking for a high-energy, hands-on Global Porting Specialist who has the ability to work in a collaborative and independent setting. This role is responsible for the overall service delivery and user support for voice and number porting to customers (new and existing) from the time the order is received to order completion. In addition, the Global Porting Specialist directive is focused on providing quality customer service experience, timely product delivery, strong task management skills and the ability to identify problems and provide constructive resolution.

Responsibilities:
● Processing and supporting all new ports and installs for new and existing customers accurately and in timely manner;
● Handling local number porting escalations and technical problems by facilitating close and frequent customer communication and escalating with underlying carriers;
● Working with project manager to ensure installs are handled properly;
● Troubleshooting with vendor for service impacting issues;
● Communicating with customers and vendors to troubleshoot issues, document resolutions and provide technical support;
● Coordinating with internal resources across multiple global locations for large, strategic global customers;
● Handling project ports and contributing to core Professional Services projects, keeping the project manager and customers informed of porting updates for multiple locations throughout the lifecycle of the project;
● Initiating and maintaining regular communication with customers and vendors to review and verify orders, review required information to provide services requested, schedule/coordinate service installation and communicate milestone dates with customers and vendors;
● Verifying the accuracy, provisioning and tracking orders from implementation/delivery to billing;
● Managing day to day order processes to ensure completion within established intervals;
● Performing data validation as required;
● Performing other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
● Education: Bachelor’s degree or completion of a college program in computer science, computer engineering or related field
● Experience reading and interpreting CSRs and LOA information from carriers
● Experience in provisioning LSRs and LNP orders
● Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
● Experience with customer service, troubleshooting and conflict resolution
