Location: Based in Edmonton. Required to drive to clients’ various locations in the Province of Alberta
Salary: $57,800 to $72,000 per year, to be negotiated based on experience. Pay per stop, mileage, dunnage.
Hours: 40 to 70 hours per week

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Basic security clearance, Medical exam, Driver's validity licence check, Driving record check (abstract)
Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel for extended periods, Drive manual transmission vehicle, Valid driver's licence, Willing to travel overnight
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads (Hand-bombing), Overtime may be required, Sitting for extended periods of time
Work Location Information: Willing to relocate. Driving to various locations in the Province of Alberta.

Specific Skills: Perform preventive maintenance, Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Perform brake adjustments, Perform emergency roadside repairs, Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption, Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Receive and relay information to central dispatch, May be required to load and unload goods using Pallet Jack.

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Air Brakes Endorsement, Driver's License (Class 1 or A). A driving test must be passed before hiring. The company will provide training on GPS and e-Logs
