Salary: $55,000.00 to $75,000.00 / year (To be negotiated)

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time, 44 hours / week

Start date: As soon as possible

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: None. Training Provided.

Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Driver's validity licence check, Driving record check (abstract)

Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel cross-border, Willing to travel for extended periods, Valid driver's licence, Willing to travel overnight

Additional Skills: Professionalism in customer service

Communication Systems Experience: Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment, Trip recorder (on-board computer)

Documentation Knowledge: Trans-border documentation, Driver logbook, Bill of lading, Trip reports, Accident or incident reports, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)

Specific Skills: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy

Transportation/Travel Experience: Regional, Long-haul, Provincial/territorial, Short-haul, National

Type of Trucking and Equipment: Dry bulk, Refrigerated, Tractor-trailer

Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): AZ class license, Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
