Location: Various locations, 256 Attwell drive, Etobicoke, M9W 5B4 & 1905 Shawson Dr, Mississauga, ON L4W 1T9
Salary: $27.00/ HOUR for 40 hours per week
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time
Employment conditions: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime, On Call, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning
Start date: Starts as soon as possible

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Mechanical Repairer Specific Skills: Test and adjust units to specifications; Complete reports to record problems and work performed; Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions; Diagnose faults and malfunctions and confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit; Repair or replace mechanical units or components
Additional Skills: Coach and instruct apprentices; Estimate parts and labour costs
Area of Specialization: Standard transmission; Engine repair; Engine repair and overhaul; Diesel engines; Automatic transmission; Truck-trailer repair; Fuel and emission system; Brake system
Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract); Criminal record check
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment; Manual dexterity; Attention to detail; Hand-eye co-ordination; Standing for extended periods; Overtime required
Work Location Information: In shop; Relocation costs covered by employer
