Position Summary
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Warehouse and Distribution Supervisor to oversee daily warehousing operations, lead a dedicated team, and ensure the smooth flow of goods through our cross-dock and storage facility in Concord, Ontario. This role plays a key part in maintaining the efficiency, accuracy, and safety of our distribution processes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff involved in receiving, sorting, storing, and shipping materials
• Plan, organize, and oversee inventory control and stock movement procedures
• Ensure cross-dock and distribution processes meet deadlines and client requirements
• Maintain accurate records of goods received and shipped, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Assign duties and prepare work schedules for warehouse workers
• Train new employees and monitor ongoing performance and productivity
• Oversee maintenance and proper use of equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners
• Coordinate closely with dispatchers, drivers, and operations staff to align warehousing with transportation
• Prepare reports on warehouse performance and participate in continuous improvement efforts
• Enforce health and safety regulations and ensure workplace cleanliness and organization

Requirements
• Completion of secondary school is required; post-secondary education is an asset
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken
• Excellent knowledge of inventory systems and shipping/receiving procedures is an asset
