Supply Chain Supervisor

Three (3)permanent full-time position of Transport Logistician (NOC 12013) available at Rocman Contracting Limited 11191 Twigg Place Richmond, BC  V6V 3C9

Main Duties to be completed as per the lead statement of NOC 12013;

Coordinating and assigning work to staff engaged in the following duties like shipping goods, receiving, storing, distributing and maintaining inventories of materials, processing purchasing transactions, dispatching crews to the destination, scheduling transportation crews.
Establish work schedules and procedures.
Co-ordinate activities with other work units and various other brokers/companies for dispatching/distributing items.
Handling & resolving work-related problems occurring like scheduled-deliveries, misroutes, invoices (mis-quoted) etc.
Prepare and submit daily progress and other invoicing reports.
Train workers in job duties, coordinating with safety procedures and company policies.
Requisition supplies and materials, computer maintenance, maintaining database etc.
Ensuring smooth operation of computer systems, equipment and machinery and arrange for maintenance and repair work.
Controlling the budget by smooth operations with less manpower (rescheduling shifts as and when required depending upon work load)
Performing the same duties as workers supervised as and when required.
Must be physically fit and able to lift upto 50lbs

Education RequirementsNo formal education required

Experience 1 - 7 Months

Languages - English

Work Settings Physically demanding job. Ability to lift 100lbs at times. Must be available to work evenings and weekends

Hours per week 35-60
